WATKINS WINNER: Aston Villa do the double over Arsenal

Ollie Watkins' second-minute goal was enough for Aston Villa to see off Arsenal at Villa Park.

Bertrand Traore capitalised on a mistake by Cedric Soares to find Watkins in the area.

His effort deflected off Arsenal defender Rob Holding and into the back of the net.

The goal sees Watkins reach double figures for goals scored in his first season in the Premier League.

It's the first time Aston Villa have done the double over Arsenal in 28 years.

Former Arsenal 'keeper Emiliano Martinez kept a clean sheet for Villa.

In particular, his excellent save from Granit Xhaka prevented the Gunners from scoring.
