Reaction continues to Prime Minister Boris Johnson's route out of lockdown. Pupils in Wales have already returned, with all schools in England set to follow suit and reopen on 8th March. The reopening has been described as cautious and will be dependent on vaccine rollout and variants.
The UK's Covid-19 vaccines substantially reduce the risk of hospital admission, according to Scottish data. Four weeks after receiving a first dose, both the Pfizer/BioNTech and Oxford/AstraZeneca jabs cut hospitalisation by up to 85 and 94 per cent respectively. Meanwhile those living with HIV in England will no longer have to disclosure their status in order to get their covid vaccine.
Aldi has been rated the top supermarket for 2021, whilst Sainsbury's comes top for online. The Which? survey gave Aldi five stars for value for money.
