More MPs in the West Midlands have backed the cautious easing of restrictions.
Reacting to Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, Stuart Anderson MP for Wolverhampton South West said he's ‘for a phased approach focused on the health and wellbeing of people’ whilst Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield said ‘the Prime Minister is right to be cautious’.
A man is said to have suffered life changing injuries after his throat was slashed in a horrific knife attack in Birmingham city centre on Monday night. West Midlands Police's Response Team tweeted he was very lucky to be alive. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Finally, a man has died in a crash between a van and a car near Lichfield at around 7:45pm on Monday. Despite their best efforts, paramedics could not save the man who was believed to be in his sixties.
