LOCAL UPDATE: Sandwell Council urge residents to get tested & man gets 13 months in jail for fly-tipping
Those living in Sandwell are being advised to take a test even if they are feeling unwell, even if they aren't displaying the key symptoms of coronavirus.
Lisa McNally, Director of Public Health in Sandwell said, "It's better to be safe than sorry especially now that the new 'Kent' variant of the virus is very prevalent."
