LOCAL UPDATE: Solihull vaccine chiefs dismiss jab concerns & West Midlands Police issue warning to online sellers

Solihull vaccine chiefs dismiss jab concerns & West Midlands Police issue warning to online sellers.

Solihull vaccine chiefs have dismissed concerns about the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab as 'unfounded scaremongering'. The GP-led co-operative overseeing the local roll-out, SolliVac tweeted their message which ended by saying, "ALL our vaccines are safe and effective."

Next, West Midlands Police have urged those in the West Midlands who sell goods online to be wary of fraudsters. They say there has been an ongoing pattern of fraud in which con artists will agree to buy items such as phones or watches before paying a fraudulent cheque into the seller's bank account.

Finally, City of Wolverhampton Council are encouraging eligible charities, community and voluntary groups in the city to apply for either the Local Restrictions Support Grant or the Additional Restrictions Grant. Businesses who contact the Council's support team will be offered help completing the online application form.
