TIME TO ENJOY: No pressure on Leeds United against Man City

Leeds United can enjoy their game against Manchester City after securing safety in the Premier League for another season.

The Whites have effectively confirmed their status in the top flight after back-to-back wins against Fulham and Sheffield United.

With a tough run of games coming up for Leeds United, starting with this one against Man City, fans can sit back and enjoy.

It may also take the pressure of the players and allow them to execute Marcelo Bielsa's game plan more effectively.

Man City are the runaway league leaders though, so this won't be an easy task for Leeds United.

Although, they did hold Pep Guardiola's side to a 1-1 draw in their last meeting earlier this season.

Leeds had 52% possession that day. If they enjoy the majority of the ball again, it'll be the first time a team had more possession in both league meetings over Guardiola.

It'll be just their second trip to the Etihad in the Premier League. The first of which was a 1-1 draw in December 2003.

Manchester City did beat Leeds United 4-0 in the FA Cup at the ground back in 2013 however.

Leeds United without Jack Harrison against Man City

Jack Harrison will be unavailable for the clash as the on-loan Manchester City man cannot face his parent club.

Bielsa is disappointed that they need to drop the winger after his recent good form.

He accepts the terms of the loan deal though, and says there'll be plenty of options available.

"We would have hoped to have counted on him," Bielsa said.

"Especially as his last performances have been good, but we knew about the rule that impeded him from playing.

"Like in all the positions, we have more than one option and we are in condition to replace him."

Leeds United travel to Manchester City in the early kick-off on Saturday.
