As The Parking Lot Social gears up to launch in Birmingham later this month, the drive-in tour has a special spring event just for kids.
The Social Kids event will take place at the Ebbot Markets & Car Boots on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April - the perfect antidote for youngsters who have been cooped up during lockdown. Featuring a ‘Superhero Workout Party’, kids will take part in the immersive experience from the car park, with superhero themed moves and games to get them moving.
As well as an action packed workout session, kids can don their favourite costume and enjoy a superhero quiz, musical bingo, car-a-oke and The Parking Lot Social’s infamous silent disco.
The full event will take place from a vast custom made stage, with the live entertainment broadcast across two 60ft screens. Using the best technology, audio will be transmitted from the stage directly to each vehicle through a dedicated FM radio channel.
A selection of delicious food from a variety street food vendors will also be available for families to enjoy, including award winning burgers from Knowing Meat Knowing You, hearty street food fare from Kells Kitchen, fish n chips from Sea Wise and artisan desserts, hot drinks and shakes from Hector & Harriet. With safety is at the heart of the event, all food is ordered online and delivered straight to each car.
The event is completely contactless ensuring a safe and socially distant experience, all in accordance with local government guidelines.
