BRAGGING RIGHTS: Baggies beat Wolves in first Black Country Derby since 2012

Two Matheus Pereira penalties gave West Bromwich Albion a must needed win against their arch-rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Baggies had yet to secure three points under new boss Sam Allardyce, but came from 2-1 down to win 3-2.

Controversy surrounded the opening penalty as Willy Boly fouled Callum Robinson on the line of the 18-yard box, but VAR agreed with match referee Michael Oliver that a penalty was the correct decision.

After Pereira scored from 12-yards, Wolves equalised through Fabio Silva - his first at Molineux - before Boly scored to put the home side ahead of half time.

It was Allardyce's side who rallied in the second half, though, and Semi Ajayi pulled the visitors level from a long throw.

Another penalty was awarded, this time Conor Coady the man who was deemed to have fouled Robinson, and Pereira slotted him from the spot again.
