HYDROGEN FUTURE: Birmingham based Adelan launches a reliable alternative to electric battery cars
Birmingham’s clean air zone is live. Older less fuel efficient cars and commercial vehicles will be liable for daily charges. So it’s not surprising that many are thinking it’s time for a new more environmentally friendly car.
One option is hydrogen fuel cells and locally based Adelan is at the forefront of development. The company has formed a partnership with Green Tomato Cars and Toyota to offer a reliable alternative to battery electric vehicles that still meet the requirements for Birmingham’s new Clean Air Zone.
As part of the partnership to promote cleaner roads, 25 Toyota Mirai fuel cell vehicles have been made available for the leasing programme.
