TOP STORIES: A Local hotel plans to host refugees and asylum seekers over the next three years.
The Rowton Hotel on Alcester Street plans have been met with several objections including claims that bags of excitement were thrown from windows when the hotel was previously used to house refugees. The plans are set to be put to Birmingham City Councils licensing department on September the 2nd.
The parts of the local motorway network where drivers are most likely to be caught by speed cameras has been revealed. Close to 4,000 drivers were recorded speeding between Junctions 7 and 8 of the M6, that's where the M6 meets the M5, in the last two years and were fined and given points on their licence with 2,881 were caught last year alone.
