Comedy legends and award winning plays will be available to discover this August with Shedinburgh Festival 2021!
The Shedinburgh Festival was created as a directed response to the uncertain future facing both venues and artists in 2020, Shedinburghs objective was to shout loud about the Fringe’s vital role in global culture, celebrate its past successes and breakthrough artists and provide a platform for the talent that would have been on had the Edinburgh Festival Fringe not been cancelled.
Following its successful 2020 debut, all shows and events at this year’s festival will be streamed globally from Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre and London's Soho Theatre from August 3-30.
This year the 2021 comedy events include comedy legend Harry Hills' "Harry Hill noise" and Mark Thomas in his new show "Best of the Mark Thomas Comedy Product"
The theatre "Shedule" includes a special one-off performance from Swansea Actress Sophie Melville of 'Iphigenia in Splott', frist performed at the Sherman Theatre, written by Welsh playwright Gary Owen. To add to this Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons’ by Sam Steiner will play, and ‘Build a Rocket’ by Chris White.
